Classes

Here we have a complete list of classes that we offer. Most of these classes are open to the public, but in order to participate in the Collective Soles Youth Ensemble, auditions are required.

For Pre-K students interested in beginning their training in dance, we offer Creative Movement Ballet and Creative Rhythm Tap for children ages 2-5 years. There are three Creative Movement Levels. Our students begin their formal dance training in our Primary Level Dance Classes. These classes are offered to children ages 5 to 12 years old. Students are placed in the class appropriate for their age, experience,  and ability. A placement class may be utilized to determine the appropriate class for the students. There are four Primary Levels and students will have two performance opportunities throughout the season.

For experienced students, we offer our Advanced Dance Training in classes levels A-D. Students are placed in the class appropriate for their experience and ability. An audition class is required for placement into the Advanced Training Level. There are 5 Advanced Training Levels (students may spend two to three years in levels A-C) and students will have three performances throughout the season.  Please contact us with any questions regarding the audition/placement classes and enrollment.

The Musical Theatre Training Program is for elementary, middle, and high school aged students to learn acting and vocal technique. Students will work on monologues, voice, character development, and choreography. Primary students will present a Winter Holiday Revue and a full musical theatre production in the spring. Intermediate and Advanced students will present a full musical theatre production in late winter and a Broadway Revue in the spring. For students without prior experience in our programs, an audition is required for the Intermediate and Advanced levels, with the student's age and experience taken into consideration. Please contact us with any questions regarding auditions and enrollment.
